The full paper template will be available for download at a later date. The link to the EasyChair paper submission is available here. Papers will be accepted on the basis of their quality and originality. The proceedings of AOSFST 2018 can be found here.

All papers accepted will be included in the AOSFST 2021 conference proceedings. Each paper will have a unique DoI and will be indexed, making it easier for papers in the conference proceedings to find and cite.

Also, selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version to be published in a special issue of Fire Safety Journal.


Conference Awards

For the Best Paper award, the selection process will be chaired by the Chair of the Scientific Committee. For the Best Presentation award, the awardees will be decided based on audience voting during the conference.

“Best Student Paper” and “Best Student Presentation” awards

The International Association of Fire Safety Science (IAFSS) is sponsoring awards to students in the categories for Best Student Paper and Best Student Presentation at AOSFST 2021. Awardees in each category will receive an award certificate and cash prizes for Winner (AU$1,000) and Runner-up (AU$500).

The focus of the Asia-Oceania Symposium on Fire Science and Technology is on the research and developments in fire safety science and engineering.
